Today's offering showcase this gorgeously restored example of one of Omega's classic vintage watches.
As one of the elegant and sophisticated "De Ville" models, it has a classic case, distinctive emerald green dial, and automatic caliber 1002 movement used in Seamasters from the era. Our photos couldn't do it justice! The dial is a rich green color.
Its case has a unique design only used in a handful or so models from the era.
Despite the inherent difficulties associated with making rectangular cases, like this unusual cushion-shaped case impermeable, using an extremely high level of craftsmanship and an ingenious case design that features a case back that twists slightly to lock into place and unique pressure sealing crystal with flange that presses against the dial, Omega Perregaux succeeded in building a fully waterproof, cushion shaped case, an unusual feat for the era.
It is fully Omega down to the original hands, crown, and even unique Omega crystal! It has just finished a true expertly done restoration and presents in gorgeous condition.
Its case presents as mint. Its dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done.
As part of the restoration a Master Watchmaker has freshly overhauled the movement. It is running strong and extremely true.
For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a new calf leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
A half-century old Omega that presents like new!
