Today's offering showcases this classic and meticulously restored c. 1971 Omega Seamaster. Our photos couldn't do it justice.

It has our favorite Omega case style from the era. It's truly a timeless watch.

Powering it is Omega's top-tier caliber 565 movement used in Seamasters from the era, and one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs It was the top tier offering of the 500 series. It has 24 jewels and a quick-setting date and was one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.

It measures 34.5mm, which is in between the size of the Rolex Date and the Rolex Datejust.

It has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It has all of its original Omega parts and presents in gorgeous restored condition.

The case presents as mint with fairly light signs of previous polishing except on the case back and some wear almost entirely hidden inside the engine bay. On the wrist it presents as beautiful mint.

The strong black dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration, the very fine caliber 565 movement with fine swans neck regulation has been overhauled by a Master Watchmaker.

It is running extremely strong and true, keeping time on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.

For the finishing touch, it has been equipped with a new aftermarket leather strap with aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
