1972 Omega Geneve Vintage Mens Watch, Quick-Setting Date - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 5230

Today's offering showcases this prime example of one of Omega's vintage gent's Geneve watches.

Beginning in 1953 Omega placed the name Geneve on the dials of some of the members of the 30mm collection which at the time were produced in the company's workshops in Geneve (to put Geneve on a dial of a watch certain components and processes must take place in Geneve). According to Omega the name referred to to the Genevan Observatory where the early 30mm calibers set a number of records.

It presents in beautiful condition and is 100% Omega down to the dial, hands, winding crown and even signed Omega crystal. The original and untouched silver dial with baguette markers is mint. The case presents as mint. The bracelet presents as mint with light stretch. And the handwound Omega movement with quick-setting date is quite pristine.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

A four decade old Omega that presents almost like new!

Omega:
Worn on the wrists of celebrities Michael Schumacher, Pierce Brosnan, Michael Phelps, and Ernie Els Omega timepieces rank with those from the world's fine Swiss firms.
