Today's offering showcases this mint-presenting example of one of Omega classic vintage watches.
It has as classic and distinctive TV shaped case, luxurious champagne dial, and fine Omega handwound movement, the company's ultra-thin caliber 620.
It is 100% Omega down to the hands and winding crown. It presents in gorgeous restored condition. On the wrist it presents as mint.
The dial has been expertly refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done. The movement, which is quite pristine, has been freshly cleaned and oiled and is running very true.
It has the look of a solid gold Omega for a fraction of the price.
For the finishing touch we have equipped the watch with a new calf-skin leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
A four and a half decade old Omega that looks almost like new on the wrist!
Omega Geneve:
Omega watches can be found on the wrists of many prominent figures including Pierce Brosnan, Michael Schumacher, Michael Phelps, Ernie Els, and Prince William, and one graced the wrist of President John F. Kennedy. Omega has been the official timekeeper for 21 Olympic Games and is the official chronometer of NASA.
Beginning in 1953 Omega placed the name Geneve on the dials of some of the members of the 30mm collection which at the time were produced in the company's workshops in Geneve (to put Geneve on a dial of a watch certain components and processes must take place in Geneve) and later expanded the line of watches featuring the name. According to Omega the name referred to to the Genevan Observatory where the early 30mm calibers set a number of records.
