Today's offering showcases this very pleasing vintage day date Omega TV shaped Seamaster. It is 100% original - down to the hands, crown, crystal, and even its original Omega waterproofing seal!
Here are some of its features:
-
Pioneering "double quick-set" day and date features - Omega created the caliber 1020 movement with a double quick-set capability for convenient setting of the day and date. Though many connoisseurs associate the idea of the double quick-set watch with Rolex, which first offered the President model with this "new" feature in late 1990, Omega was a pioneer of the technology in large scale production watches, evidenced by this example made about a decade before.
-
Full size retro case - Its diameter is approx. 36mm, the same size as a Rolex Datejust
- Faster beat (28,800 bph) balance system for greater accuracy
It presents in gorgeous original condition. The case presents as mint condition with light signs of polishing. The dial is original and mint. And the bracelet presents as just short of mint.
Our watchmaker has just freshly cleaned and oiled the movement. It is continues to run extremely accurately.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
A three and a half decade old original unrestored Omega that looks almost like new on the wrist!
