Today's offering showcases this uncommon automatic Speedmaster, ref. 3511.80 with awesome panda dial. The case and bracelet both carry a traditional speedy look, although the bezel is of the sleeker steel embossed variety.
The black and silver so-called reverse Panda dial give it a really great look. And the luminous has nicely just begun to tone a bit giving the watch more color. This Speedy version is an uncommon one made only for the Japanese market.
It is fully original down to the Omega waterproofing seal and in beautiful condition - it presents as a 9.5 out of 10. The dial is mint, and the sapphire crystal is flawless under magnification.
One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it. It continues to keep time.
For the finished touch we have meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.

Omega Speedmaster:
In 1957, Omega unveiled a chronograph that was a true technological marvel, the Speedmaster. Its durability and accuracy would not only win it accolades around the world and the distinction of being the first watch to be worn on the moon, it would accomplish something far more important, guiding the crew of Apollo 13 safely back home after their malfunctioning electronic systems had shut down.
The Speedmaster is one of the few truly iconic chronograph watches.
