Omega Speedmaster Mens Triple Date Chronograph Automatic Watch, 3523.30 - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 10520

Today's offering showcases this beautiful and complicated Connoisseur of Time Certified Pre-Owned automatic Speedmaster, ref. 3523.30.00.

Then Speedmaster quietly shows just how far Omega pushed the platform beyond its racing roots.

At first glance it carries the familiar Speedmaster DNA - the balanced case and the classic chronograph layout - but a closer look reveals something far more involved. The dial is densely but thoughtfully arranged: day and month apertures at 12, a full peripheral date track, three chronograph registers, and a 24-hour indication integrated into the running seconds.

It’s a complete triple calendar chronograph and then some, executed in a way that remains readable and cohesive rather than crowded.

That’s what makes this reference interesting. It doesn’t just add complications for the sake of it - it integrates them into the Speedmaster design language. Its case and bracelet both carry a traditional speedy look, although the bezel is of the sleeker steel embossed variety which gives it an almost instrument-like presence compared to its black-bezel siblings.

Underneath, the automatic caliber 1151 adds another layer of appeal. Based on a proven chronograph architecture, it delivers the kind of reliability and usability that makes this watch more than just a collector’s piece. You can wear it daily and actually use it - timing events, tracking the date, and appreciating the mechanical choreography happening beneath the dial.

This triple date Speedmaster sits in a unique space - offering far more functionality than the standard Moonwatch while still carrying the unmistakable Speedmaster identity. It is one of the most interesting ways to experience a Speedmaster - familiar at a glance, but far more intricate the longer you spend with it.

It is all original down to the Omega waterproofing seal and presents in gorgeous condition - a 9.5 out of 10. Its case presents as mint with light signs of previous polishing. Its dial presents like new. And its sapphire crystal presents as mint.

Its complicated movement is very clean.

A Master Watchmaker has performed any needed servicing and carefully timed the watch in multiple positions. It continues to run extremely strong and true, keeping time on par with a new Speedy in our recording position.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

Speedmaster:

In 1957, Omega unveiled a chronograph that was a true technological marvel, the Speedmaster. Its incredible durability and accuracy would not only win it accolades around the world and the distinction of being the first watch to be worn on the moon, it would accomplish something far more important, guiding the crew of Apollo 13 safely back home after their malfunctioning electronic systems had shut down.
