1925 Patek Philippe Likely for Tiffany Vintage Art Nouveau Ladies Watch - Platinum & Diamonds

Patek Philippe

Item No. 9665

In the 1920's Patek Philippe, the unrivaled premier watchmaker in the world, on occasion made jewel encrusted ladies watches to meet the needs of their discriminating female clientele.

Today these special watches are sought-after by women of distinction, Hollywood actresses, and any lady desiring to wear a world-class timepiece.

The very rare and exclusive ladies Art Nouveau diamond and platinum Patek Philippe watch showcased in today's offering is an all-original prime example of this phenomenon, made for the company's U.S. clientele and likely sold through Tiffany & Co. We were very fortunate to acquire it.

The thirty-six diamonds on its stunning case are very high quality, as one would expect from original factory set diamonds on a watch of this caliber.

Our photos couldn't do it justice. It is in amazingly well-preserved condition. We have owned a number of these watches, but this one is the nicest by far. It was purchased directly from the original owner's family.

It is all-original down to its ornate floral crown, strap and buckle and has never been polished, appearing to have been worn only occasionally and carefully in appreciation of its quality and value and then safely stored away. Even its original grosgrain band is in very serviceable condition.

Its case is in better than near mint condition with only light wear and still perfectly retains all of its original factory applied satin finish to the back.

Its silver Patek signed dial is original and untouched. Nice original dials are seldom seen on nearly 100 year old Pateks, and this one is about as fine as they come.

One of our Master Watchmakers has fully serviced the watch which consisted of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, reassembling and lubricating the movement, and extensive timing testing and regulation (a $795 value). It is keeping extremely accurate time.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function and a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.

Please inquire if you would like us to obtain an Extract from the Patek Philippe archives for you. Patek charges 500CHF to provide one.
