Item No. 9717
Sold Out
We are proud to offer today this very fine and original mid-century era ladies Patek Philippe sold by Gubelin, the prestigious Swiss retailer, one of Europe's premier jewelers.
With its understated silver face, wonderfully distinctive case with teardrop lugs, and Patek Philippe removeable bracelet, it showcases a classic and elegant vintage Patek style.
Powering it is its illustrious handwound movement. It is very finely crafted, on par in quality and craftsmanship with only the very top tier of mens watches by the likes of Patek Philippe, other Vacheron & Constantins, and Audemars Piguet.
It was not only originally crafted and adjusted to run accurately across five positions and a wide range of temperatures as the movement states, it was also designed to keep consistent time regardless of how much wind was left in the mainspring (isochronism). In most watches the rate changes the power reserve lessens.
When it comes to ladies watches, the focus is normally much more directed to the what's on the outside of the watch than what's on the inside. But not with this watch...its engine would make most men's watches jealous.
The watch itself has all of its original parts and is in beautiful original condition. Our photos couldn't do its condition justice.
Its shapely Patek Philippe case is in just short of mint condition with only light signs of wear and very little signs of prevoius polishing. Both of its hallmarks, one on the side of a lug and one on the side of the, are crisp.
Its desirable, untouched original double-signed Patek and Gubelin dial is in excellent condition with only light aging. And its period Patek Philippe signed bracelet is in excellent condition with only light wear.
One of our Master Watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
We have also timed it on a machine that simulates it being worn on the wrist. It is keeping extremely accurate time.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function and a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
Please inquire if you would like us to obtain an Extract from the Patek Philippe archives for you. Patek charges 500CHF to provide one.
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee for all of our watches. If you are in any way unsatisfied with the watch we will fully refund the purchase price anytime within 7 days after the watch has been received. Our goal is to exceed our client's expectations throughout the buying experience.
