Today's offering showcases this prime example of a classic steel pre-Bond Seamaster 200m dive watch.
These Seamasters were the pre-cursors to what are recognized as the James Bond watches. It has a unidirectional diver's bezel and quartz movement with quick-setting hour for easy switching of times zones.
They are cool watches with a great look. And this all-original example presents gorgeously.
It has all original parts down to the hands, crown, movement cap, and bezel insert - no parts have been changed on it. The movement cap forms a Faraday cage providing protection against magnetic fields.
The case itself presents as mint. The bezel insert, which usually shows the most wear on these watches, is in excellent condition with only mild wear. The matte black dial is just short of perfect mint. All of the luminous on the dial and hands is untouched.
A Master Watchmaker has performed any needed servicing and installed a new battery for the original caliber 1438 movement making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
