Item No. 5972
Designed personally by Louis Cartier in 1917 and patterned after an army tank, Cartier's iconic Tank watch symbolized speed and achievement.
This very fine 18K gold mens Tank features a stylish tank case, classic white Roman dial with blue steel hands, sapphire topped crown, and Cartier quartz movement that never needs to be wound.
The watch is fully Cartier including its original buckle. It presents in beautiful condition.
Our Master Watchmaker has just performed any needed servicing, installed a new battery, and replaced all waterproofing gaskets with new Cartier seals.
For the finishing touch we have installed a brand new aftermarket (non-Cartier) genuine crocodile strap with the watch's original Cartier buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Celebrated for their impeccable quality and flawless designs, Cartier watches rank among the most luxurious and expensive in the world. Worn by Bill Clinton, Elton John, Jackie Kennedy and Princess Diana, Cartier watches have long been favorites of royalty, Hollywood celebrities, and anyone desiring to wear a timepiece of distinction.
