Item No. 9980
$ 1,945.00
Today's offering showcases this uncommon and interesting Certified Pre-Owned Omega Dynamic automatic mens watch.
Omega first launched the Dynamic line in the 1970's and Omega relaunched this version of the Dynamic in 1997. Because at the time it was a poor seller, Omega ceased their production of it in January 2000, so only a relatively few of these watches were made, and they are not often seen today.
Omega presented a chronograph version of this watch to Pierce Brosnan who later auctioned the watch for charity.
Named "The Classic" by Omega, this sub-version has a luminous nipple dial. Like the version of this watch which had rectangular luminous markers which was a Japanese limited edition, we would not be surprised if this was also a limited edition.
Mating class, craftsmanship and usefulness, the classic yet robust watch stands out as a quality time piece to even the casual of observer. Inside the case has an iron protective movement cap that forms a Faraday cage to shield the movement from magnetic fields.
Its bracelet is heavier and stronger than what is often found on other Dynamic III watches.
It features Omega's caliber 1108 automatic engine, flat sapphire crystal, and screwed down crown.
In its pre-owned form, the watch presents an excellent value, providing greater quality and robustness than is often found in watches in this under $2500 dollar price range. And it presents as mint on the wrist.
It has just finished a true expertly done refurbishing and presents in gorgeous condition - a 9.7 out of 10.
Its case, dial, and crystal all present as mint. Its bracelet has only very slight stretch and presents as mint.
A Master Watchmaker has overhauled the movement. Photos of the inside available upon request. It is running very strong and true, keeping time on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
