Omega Speedmaster Triple Date Chronograph Watch, Blue Dial, 3521.80 - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 5874

Today's offering features a complicated automatic Speedmaster, ref. 3521.80. Besides the chronograph the watch also possesses a triple date calendar and twenty-four hour time indication.

The case and bracelet both carry a traditional speedy look, although the bezel is of the sleeker steel embossed variety, and the royal blue dial with all of its functions is quite striking. Note that the dial came out looking a little brighter tone in the photos than it does in person. It is a beautiful true royal blue.

It is 100% original down to the Omega waterproofing seal and presents as just short of perfect mint condition - it presents as a 9.7 out of 10.

It has been just been fully serviced and continues to keep time virtually on par with a new Speedy, maintaining chronometer grade accuracy in three testing positions.

Accompanying the watch are its original boxes, booklets, and card holder.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.

Speedmaster:
In 1957, Omega unveiled a chronograph that was a true technological marvel, the Speedmaster. Its incredible durability and accuracy would not only win it accolades around the world and the distinction of being the first watch to be worn on the moon, it would accomplish something far more important, guiding the crew of Apollo 13 safely back home after their malfunctioning electronic systems had shut down.
