While busy patenting their Oyster case, Rolex also crafted early lady's dress wristwatches to meet the needs of their female clients. The fine nearly century old Rolex showcased in this offering is an example of one of these very early lady's Rolex wristwatches. Rolex was one of the pioneers of the wrist worn watch.
We were fortunate to acquire it in all original condition. It showcases a classic 9K gold case lightly tinted rose in tone and light face with Roman numerals and red twelve, and original winding crown. Please inquire if you would like the dial expertly restored. Its blued steel hands still retain their strong blue tone.
It is accompanied by its very interesting and lovely historical original 9K gold expansion bracelet. It has unique patented functional design and pleasing aesthetic design.
One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
