Today's offering showcases this gorgeous example of one of the company's distinctive and fine 1940's ladies dress watches.
Complete with its 18K rose gold case that features elegant dropping lugs done in an unusual block pattern and a complementary salmon dial (face), it has timeless elegance and class.
Powering this gem is a fine, early Rolex timekeeping mechanism. Featuring Rolex's patented Super Balance system as well as possessing a tonneau shape for longer running reserve and more accurate timekeeping, it employed Rolex's premier movement technology for the era. The movement is higher grade than those normally found in the company's 1940's dress watches and is similar to their chronometer movements from the era, timed in six positions.
While many of the company's similar ladies dress watches from the era were very nice, this example is a little unusual in the beauty of its case design and the quality of its movement.
It has been freshly cleaned and oiled by our watchmaker and presents in very pleasing condition. All of the original hallmarks and stamping including the serial number are still clearly intact.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
