One of the more seldom seen classic vintage Rolex watches is the Oyster Precision as Rolex made most watches of this style with a date. It features a much thinner profile than the Perpetual models, and this model features an engine turned indexed bezel - its understated and classic design contrast the "busier" look of some of the modern Rolex watches.
And this Oyster Precision is a little larger than Oysterdate and Oyster Perpetual watches - it's diameter is one millimeter smaller than a Datejust.
We are proud to offer this all-original example in superior condition and accompanied by its rare original box.
Its case presents as just short of mint with nice still fairly wide lugs; and its original silver dial is mint. Our watchmaker has just freshly cleaned and oiled the movement, which is running strong and true.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
Note: Published examples of this model can be found in Osvaldo Patrizzi's work Rolex, Collecting Wristwatches, 2001 Edition, Vol. 2, pg. 362.
