Rolex designed the Cellini to be the preeminent symbol of elegance and performance. A premier dress watch, this Cellini has a long 18K gold case, luxurious champagne dial with 18K gold coronet, and high-grade handwound caliber 1600 movement.

When we opened it was the first time it had been opened since leaving the Rolex factory. The case has never been polished - it's completely original and untouched. It has just the slightest bit of wear, which is hardly more than handling wear, and the gold has developed a light patina from sitting untouched for so long. It could easily be wiped off if you would like.

It's a true time capsule piece that has spent its life safely stored away. The original Rolex band and 18K Rolex buckle show hardly any signs of being worn. We have owned "brand new" Rolexes straight from dealers that had more wear from being handled in their showcases over time than this watch exhibits.

Its winding is smooth, and it is keeping time, although a servicing is recommended if it is to be used regularly. Please inquire if you would like our Master Watchmaker to perform the work.
