When we opened it was the first time it had been opened since leaving the Rolex factory. The case has never been polished - it's completely original and untouched. It has just the slightest bit of wear, which is hardly more than handling wear, and the gold has developed a light patina from sitting untouched for so long. It could easily be wiped off if you would like.

It's a true time capsule piece that has spent its life safely stored away.

One of our Master Watchmakers, who used to be the watchmaker for an authorized Rolex dealer and was given special training by Rolex at their Beverly Hills Service Center to be an authorized Rolex watchmaker, has fully serviced the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, replacing any overly worn components with genuine Rolex parts, installing a new mainspring, reassembling and lubricating the movement (a $695 value).

For the finishing touch it comes equipped with a brand new leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Also accompanying it is its previously worn but serviceable original Rolex strap with original solid 18K gold Rolex buckle.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.

Rolex is not currently offering a ladies Cellini watch - the MSRP for a new gold ladies watch on an an 18K bracelet (they do not currently offer any on a strap) is $26,000 + tax.
