Sold Out
We are proud to offer today this Rolex Submariner Date in mint condition with the original hologram still mostly intact on the back. It is the discontinued style and a D serial with solid end links and was sold in 2006. It is fully Rolex and the bracelet has no stretch.
It is a one-owner watch purchased new from a Rolex authorized dealer and presents as a about a 9.8 out of 10. On the wrist it looks nearly like new.
Our Master Watchmaker has just performed a partial servicing including installing new genuine Rolex waterproofing seals (a $295 value).
It continues to keep time on par with a brand new Sub, maintaining chronometer grade timing in all five positions.
Accompanying it are its original boxes, papers, and accessories and chronometer hang tag.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
The Rolex Submariner:
Rolex, known for exposing their wristwatches to extreme circumstances, took their testing to a new level on September 30, 1953, when they strapped one of their new prototype Submariner diving watches to the famous Piccard family's bathyscaph FNRS-2 for its world record setting dive to 10,336 feet. The watch survived the testing unharmed and watertight.
The modern Submariner features an officially certified chronometer movement, a virtually indestructible Oyster case, dial with large, luminous, easy to read markers and hands which are visible in nearly all environments and an incredible depth rating. A symbol of the supremacy of the Rolex watch in terms of water-resistance, the Submariner Date is impermeable to a depth of 300 meters/1000 feet.
