In the 1920's, no name better captured the idea of embracing the best life had to offer than that of Tiffany & Co. One of the company's select offerings was a line of watches emblazoned with the Tiffany & Co. name on the dial. Although the maker's name were often hidden, the retailer contracted with the world's finest watch and jewelry making firms to produce these treasured timepieces.
Today these special watches are sought-after by women of distinction, Hollywood actresses, and any lady of virtue desiring to wear a world-class timepiece.
For this special piece Tiffany partnered with one of the very fine watchmakers in the world at the time, Agassiz Watch Co.
We were fortunate to acquire it in all original condition down to the dial, hands, and beautifully ornate winding crown, an impressive state for a nearly century old wristwatch.
Bejewelled with radiant very high quality original factory set diamonds over all the bezel, the finely decorated platinum case is stunning!
Its original Agassiz movement has six adjustments like only the very highest grade watches e.g. Patek, Audemars Piguets, Vacheron & Constantin's etc.
It is in very pleasing condition, appearing to have been worn carefully in appreciation of its quality and value.
Its silver Tiffany & Co. dial with beautiful Art Deco numerals is original and untouched. Original dials are seldom seen on nearly 100 year old Tiffany's like this. Its platinum and diamond case is near mint plus.
One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
If you are looking for a special treasure for someone in your life, this is it. Modern Tiffany watches don't match the charm and romance of this vintage original.
