In the 1940's, no name better captured the idea of embracing the best life had to offer than that of Tiffany & Co. One of the company's select offerings was a line of watches emblazoned with the Tiffany & Co. name on the dial. Although the maker's name were often hidden, the retailer contracted with the world's finest watch and jewelry making firms to produce these treasured timepieces.
Today these special watches are sought-after by women of distinction, Hollywood actresses, and any lady of virtue desiring to wear a world-class timepiece.
For this special piece, Tiffany partnered with one of the very fine watchmakers in the world at the time, Omega. Unlike most vintage Omega watches found here in the United States which were cased and timed in the U.S., this is a true all-Swiss Omega creation with a very beautiful design.
It has fully original parts down to the hands and winding crown. It is in very pleasing condition.
Its silver Tiffany & Co. dial shows only fairly mild aging and has toned a bit giving it a true vintage look. Its uncommon and desirable 14K rose gold Omega Swiss made case is in excellent condition.
One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it and replaced overly worn parts with genuine Omega replacements. It continues to keep accurate time.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
If you are looking for a special treasure for someone in your life, this is it. Modern Tiffany watches don't match the charm and romance of this vintage original.
