1930's Rolex Observatory Art Deco Vintage Mens Midsize Unisex Watch with Hooded Lugs - 18K Gold Plated

Rolex

Item No. 6089

Today's offering showcases this very fine and rare early dress style Rolex made exclusively for the Canadian market. It has a beautiful Art Deco design with hooded lugs and two-tone dial.

It was produced at the time the company was building their early Oyster line. Originally intended for men, this boys size watch measures 21mm wide excluding the crown by 30mm long and is well suited for someone with small wrists.

Powering the watch is its very fine original Rolex handwound movement with Super Balance system. This watch was rated by Rolex as having a "Prima" accuracy rating and their dial markets it as an Observatory chronometer.

It is original down to the case, dial and hands and in pleasing restored condition.

The gorgeous dial was previously restored by one of the leading dial restoration companies in North America. The case has had the gold plating redone.

Our watchmaker has just freshly disassembled the watch down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it. It is quite clean and continues to run strong and true.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new crocodile strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment. Also accompanying it is its vintage Rolex buckle and a used vintage crocodile band that fits the buckle.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
