1974 Omega Constellation Chronometer Vintage Mens Watch - 18K Gold Plated and Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 6248

Today's offering showcases this classic and rare mens Constellation. It presents in gorgeous restored condition.

We believe that this model was a national production model made exclusively for the Japanese market and have only found photos of a couple of other examples.

Powering the watch is Omega's caliber 1011 series movement officially certified as a chronometer and with 23 jewels. While most 1011's have a date, for this uncommon model it came from the factory with a 1011 without date.

Its ultra-thin automatic movement measures only 4.25mm thick and was made with a thinner rotor to reduce stress on winding parts.

It is fully Omega and presents in true expertly restored condition. It presents as about a 9.7 or out of 10. The dial has been meticulously refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

It was fully overhauled by a Master Watchmaker less than three years ago and is keeping time virtually on par with a new Constellation.

For the finishing touch a very high quality handmade alligator strap that cost $199.95 has been installed and a genuine Omega buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

Omega Constellations:

Worn on the wrists of Michael Schumacher, Pierce Brosnan, Michael Phelps, Ernie Els, Omega watches rank with those from Rolex.
