Today's offering showcases this striking and uncommon full size mens automatic Ulysse Nardin. It has a very classic large waterproof style calatrava case and Tiffany & Co. robin's egg blue dial.
Measuring 36.25mm in diameter by 42mm long, it is slightly larger than a Rolex Datejust. We love its style and full size.
Powering the watch is its original 25 jewel UN movement with a semi quick-setting date.
It is fully Ulysse Nardin and has just finished a true expertly done restoration - it presents as a 9.7 out of 10.
Its case presents as mint. Its beautiful dial, which showcases classic vintage markers, has been meticulously custom refinished - the printing could pass as UN factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration, the movement has been freshly overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It is keeping time on par with a brand new Ulysse Nardin chronometer in our testing position.
For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment. We also stock lizard and a variety of others straps in various prints, skins, and both tradition and more modern colors. Please ask us if you're interested.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
A more than half century old Ulysse Nardin that presents like new on the wrist!
Ulysse Nardin:
Ulysse Nardin is best known by many collectors for creating chronometers, extremely accurate time keeping instruments. Their marine chronometer used by ship's captains to plot and follow the correct course while at sea. By employing sextants and chronometers, a captain could track the changes in his course over time and determine the exact location of his ship, and Nardin's marine chronometers were among the most reliable and sought after.
