Today's offering showcases this beautiful C.O.T. Certified Pre-Owned ladies Vacheron & Constantin watch. Both a tasteful fashion statement and an elite precision wristwatch, it features an elegant 18K white gold case with striking blue diamond dial and exceptionally well-executed mechanism.
Built circa the late 1950's, it combines world-class quality with classic styling. Featuring an elegant 18K white gold case with wide bezel and a striking royal blue diamond dial it showcases a wonderful vintage style.
Powering it is its illustrious original handwound movement. And this is no ordinary mechanical engine.
It is very finely crafted, on par in quality and craftsmanship with only the very top tier of mens watches by the likes of Patek Philippe, other Vacheron & Constantins, and Audemars Piguet. It was not only originally crafted and adjusted to run accurately across five positions and a wide range of temperatures as the movement states, it was also designed to keep consistent time regardless of how much wind was left in the mainspring (isochronism). In most watches the rate changes the power reserve lessens.
When it comes to ladies watches, the focus is normally much more directed to the what's on the outside of the watch than what's on the inside. But not with this watch...its engine would make most men's watches jealous.
Measuring only 15mm in diameter not including the crown by 24.5mm long lug tip to tip, it is a petite watch.
It has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It has all of its original parts and presents in beautiful condition. Our photos couldn't begin to do it justice!
Its case presents as mint as just short of mint with signs of previous polishing. Its dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as V & C factory done to the naked eye. And its incredibly fine handwound movement is very clean.
It has just been freshly overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It is keeping very accurate time.
For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new crocodile strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
