1942 Omega Art Deco Vintage Mens Midsize World War II Era Watch with Sector Dial - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 6714

Today's offering showcases this gorgeously restored example of a rare and classic vintage late Art Deco gent's Omega.

This watch checks a lot of boxes. The case is unusual in that it has a striking design suggestive of a scarab with hoods and special lugs. It is very pleasing and quite a collectable design from the era.

In addition to the distinctive case the classic silver dial has a great sector design, one of the most desired styles from the period making the watch a quintessential high-grade Art Deco watch.

Like many mens watches from the period it is a smaller unisex size by today's standards, measuring approx. 31mm in diameter.

Powering it is its fine original handwound Omega movement.

It is fully omega down to the original diamonds hands and signed winding crown! It has just finished a true expertly done restoration.

Its case presents nicely on the wrist. Its dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye. And its Omega movement has just been overhauled by a Master Watchmaker.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

A desirable more than seventy-five year old Art Deco Omega that presents nearly like new on the wrist!

Omega:
Worn on the wrists of celebrities Michael Schumacher, Pierce Brosnan, Michael Phelps, and Ernie Els Omega timepieces rank with Rolex among the very fine luxury watch brands in the world.
