1946 Rolex Vintage Ladies 2-Tone Dress Watch - Stainless Steel & 18K Rose Gold

Rolex

Item No. 5856

Today's offering showcases this uncommon and beautiful example of one of the company's distinctive and fine 1940's ladies dress watches.

We have owned many examples of similar watches in 14K, 18K, and yellow and rose gold, and even in all steel. This very uncommon example is the first we've owned in two-tone and the gold is rose gold, nonetheless! It makes a beautiful and rarely seen combination.

The special case, which features elegant large faceted lugs and a light silver dial (face), has a timeless elegance and class.

Powering this gem is a fine, early Rolex timekeeping mechanism. Featuring Rolex's patented Super Balance system as well as possessing a tonneau shape for longer running reserve and more accurate timekeeping, it employed Rolex's premier movement technology for the era.

It is fully Rolex down to the dial, hands, and winding crown. The dial is a vintage restoration. Please inquire if you would like a fresh expertly done restoration.

Our watchmaker has freshly cleaned and oiled the movement. For the finishing touch we have installed a new black cord strap that adjusts to fit virtually any size wrist.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
