1950 Omega Seamaster Vintage Mens Automatic Cal. 351 Calatrava Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 7592

Today's offering showcases this classic and beautifully restored Seamaster from c. 1950. It has a classic Calatrava Seamaster case design with screwed down back and clean off-white dial.

Powering the watch is Omega's early caliber 351 "hammer" movement from Omega's very first series of automatic movements.

It measures 34.5mm in diameter without the crown, just slightly larger than the size of a Rolex Date watch.

It is fully Omega down to the dial, hands, and winding crown presents gorgeously. Its gold accents give it a dressier look than most all-steel Seamasters and more versatility to be worn with a wider range of outfits.

Its Calatrava case presents as mint condition. The case is in gorgeous mint condition. The lines are awesomely strong. Rarely do you find a Seamaster from the era that has seen so little polishing yet presents beautifully.

The dial has been meticulously refinished - the printing could nearly pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye. The markers are a style we have not seen before.

As part of the restoration the movement has been freshly overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It winds smoothly and is running accurately.

For the finishing touch a new leather strap has been installed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

The Seamaster:
