1951 Longines Vintage Mens Midsize Watch with Knot Lugs - 14K Gold & Diamonds

Longines

Item No. 6559

Longines is known for creating some of the most technically innovative and attractive timepieces in the world. Once worn by Humphrey Bogart, Richard Byrd, and Charles Lindbergh, the company's vintage watches are now sought after by collectors and anyone desiring to wear a high grade wristwatch.

The company's tradition for beautiful design continued to show-up in certain models of their American market watches like this knot lug watch, one of our favorite vintage Longines dress watch designs.

With its knot lug case and guilloche bezel with diamonds set at the primary hours, this midsize beauty has a very elegant presence.

As a mens midsize it is well-suited for someone who does not have a large wrist.

It is fully Longines and presents in gorgeous restored condition. The case presents as mint on the wrist. The dial has been previously very nicely restored. It has recently been cleaned and oiled and is keeping time within approximately 35 seconds per day face up.

One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and installed a brand new mineral glass crystal like the original.

For the finishing touch we have installed a brand new Teju lizard band making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year international warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
