1957 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Classic Vintage Mens Automatic Watch, Ref. 6567 - Stainless Steel & 18K Gold

Rolex

Item No. 6259SH

Today's listing showcases this very cool Rolex Oyster Perpetual model #6567 encased in steel and 18K gold. Featuring a silver dial with distinctive gold markers and classic case, it possesses a wonderful vintage style. The Oyster Perpetual clearly demonstrates the qualities associated with Rolex watches: precision, reliability, durability, and class.

As precise as it is classic, this watch is powered by Rolex's Caliber 1030 "butterfly rotor" movement. One of of Rolex's fine mid-century officially certified chronometer mechanisms, it offers a level of engineering and craftsmanship that was superior for the period.

It is fully Rolex down to all of its original hands and winding crown.

Our watchmaker has disassembled the watch down to its last screw and serviced it including installed a new genuine new-old-stock Rolex reversing gear, which often goes bad in these watches.

Its chronometer movement now winds smoothly and keeps excellent time, running within a few seconds per day. For the finishing touch we equipped it with a new crocodile strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

Note: A published example of a similar watch can be found in Osvaldo Patrizzi's work Rolex, Collecting Wristwatches, 2001 Edition, Guido Mondani editor, Vol. 2, pg. 10.
