1960 Rolex Precision Vintage Antique Mens Pocket Watch, 45mm - Stainless Steel & 18K Gold

Rolex

Item No. 6723

Today's offering showcases this rare and pleasing ultra-thin two-tone Rolex pocket watch.

By 1960, Rolex had shifted the overwhelming majority of its production to wristwatches however they continued to make a relatively small number of traditional pocket watches.

We are pleased to offer it. It features a shapely and rare original two-tone case. All of our research only turned up less than a handful of this reference Rolex, and none of the other examples were in two-tone cases. Seldom does one see a two-tone pocket watch of this style or from this era.

It retains all original parts. Its steel and gold case presents as just short of mint. Its complementary champagne dial with a hint of salmon has been previously restored. And its high-grade ultra-thin movement is very clean.

Its dial is just short of perfect. The light imperfections that show up in the photos are from the original crystal. It presents better in person than the highly magnified photos suggest.

One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
