1964 Omega Seamaster 600 Vintage Mens Handwound Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 9354

Today's offering showcases this very cool vintage Seamaster 600 mens watch in gorgeous restored condition. Our photos couldn't begin to do it justice.

The 600 series was so named because of the movement that powers the watches. Besides being handwound, a less common trait for a Seamaster, the Seamaster 600 also features a slightly thinner case than automatic Seamasters.

It measures 34.5mm in diameter without the crown, about the size of a Rolex Date watch - a millimeter and a half smaller than a Rolex Datejust.

It has all of its original parts. It has just been meticulously restored as part of a true expertly done restoration and presents as mint condition. It presents as a 9.7 out of 10.

Its case presents as mint, and its Seamonster logo is still strong and clear. Its dial has been expertly restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

Its caliber 611 handwound movement, originally adjusted to two positions for greater accuary, and is very clean.

As part of the restoration it has just been freshly fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker. Its fine handwound movement is running strong and true, keeping time essentially on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.

For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.

The Seamaster:
Omega is perhaps best known by watch connoisseurs for its Seamaster line of dive watches. Introduced in 1948, they have been were embraced by water sports enthusiasts and often marry a striking look with a high performance movement.
