1972 Omega Geneve Vintage Mens Full Size Handwound TV Watch with Vignette Dial - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 6341

Today's offering showcases this gorgeously restored example of one of Omega classic vintage watches.

It has as classic and distinctive TV shaped case, striking blue vignette dial, and fine Omega handwound movement, the company's ultra-thin caliber 620 adjusted to two positions.

It is surprising large for the style and era, measuring 34.5mm in diameter by just over 36mm long.

It is 100% Omega down to the dial, hands, and winding crown.

It presents in gorgeous true expertly restored condition. The case presents as mint and the dial has been meticulously refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done.

The photos couldn't do justice to the two-tone vingette dial

A Master Watchmaker has recently overhauled the movement. It is keeping time within approx. one second per hour.

For the finishing touch we have equipped the watch with a new calf-skin leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.

Omega Geneve:
Omega watches can be found on the wrists of many prominent figures including Pierce Brosnan, Michael Schumacher, Michael Phelps, Ernie Els, and Prince William, and one graced the wrist of President John F. Kennedy. Omega has been the official timekeeper for 21 Olympic Games and is the official chronometer of NASA.

Beginning in 1953 Omega placed the name Geneve on the dials of some of the members of the 30mm collection which at the time were produced in the company's workshops in Geneve (to put Geneve on a dial of a watch certain components and processes must take place in Geneve) and later expanded the line of watches featuring the name. According to Omega the name referred to to the Genevan Observatory where the early 30mm calibers set a number of records.
