1973 Rolex Precision Vintage Mens Ref. 3411 Dress Watch - Stainless Steel & Diamonds

Rolex

Item No. 9405

In the 1970's as Rolex was just transitioning its dress watches to be sold under the Cellini moniker, in the midst of their high output of utilitarian Oyster sports watches, Rolex also made much more elegant dress watches. These fine wristwatches often combine a superior hand-wound mechanism with beautiful aesthetics.

The elegant and uncommon dress Rolex Precision showcased in today's offering is a prime example of this phenomenon. It is one the last mens dress watches sold under the Precision label. It features very fine and dramatic styling and a well-executed handwound movement.

It is full size for the style - slightly over 35mm in diameter without the crown - in between the sizes of a mens Rolex Date & Datejust.

It has just finished a true expertly done restoration. Our photos couldn't do it justice.

It presents in gorgeous restored condition. The bracelet which is integrated into the case, is signed Rolex but appears to have been a later aftermarket addition done mostly likely in silver.

Its case presents as mint with only light signs of previous polishing. Despite what the photos seem to suggest, all of the Rolex markings are still lightly intact. Its Rolex dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Rolex factory done to the naked eye.

Its movement has just been overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. Its movement, which would have originally have had sweep seconds, has previously had it removed.

It is very clean and running extremely strong and true, keeping time on par with a new Rolex in our testing recording position. Photos of the inside available upon request.

Your watch is important to us, and we will take care of it for its lifetime. We provide the best after sale care in the business with an extremely experienced team of four Master Watchmakers all of whom each have over thirty-five years of experience and a large number of parts. One used to be the watchmaker for an authorized Rolex dealership and was given special training by Rolex at their Beverly Hills Service Center.

For the finishing touch, it has been meticulously detailed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

Don't miss the opportunity to own the perfect complement to your sporty Datejust, Sub, GMT, or Daytona.
