1974 IWC Vintage Mens Ellipse Blue Vignette Dial Watch, Caliber 403 - Stainless Steel

IWC

Item No. 6531

We are pleased to offer today's this beautifully restored IWC mens dress watch. While not a small watch for the era by today's standards it is a mens midsize, well-suited for someone with smaller wrists. Its case is larger than a Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse with a similar style.

Its blue vignette dial is striking and gives it a true vintage look.

For the movement the company used one of its superior high grade Caliber 403 handwound mechanisms with dual shock absorbers and micrometer regulator for precision adjustment.

Housing the fine movement is its classic original steel case done in a timeless tonneau style.

The watch presents in true expertly restored condition. It is fully IWC, and the case presents as mint. The blue gradient dial has been meticulously refinished. Note that it can out looking just very slightly brighter in the photos than it does in person.

As part of the restoration it has just been fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker. The movement is quite pristine.

For the finishing touch it has been fitted with a new fully stitched leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.

A four and a half decade old IWC that looks almost like new!
