1974 Tissot Navogator Sonorous Classic Full Size Mens Alarm Reveil Watch - Stainless Steel

Tissot

Item No. 6582

Today's offering showcases this classic and striking Tissot Navigator Sonorous in very pleasing original condition. These watches competed with the JLC Memovox's from the era.

Like the Navigator T12, it's a really cool looking watch and has the distinctive but tastefully done orange alarm originally designed for maximum visibility under water and in low light situations. It doubles as a GMT hand and can be used with the dial's 24-hour marking.

A dual crown watch with full water-resistance, it originally watch allowed active men to now enjoy their sporting and diving activities to an even greater degree.

With its monochrome case with resonating back and dial design with brushing and tiered bezel, it is both elegant and sporty. And measuring 37mm in diameter without the crown, it fills out the wrist well for a vintage watch.

Powering this gem is Tissot's caliber 1748 handwinding movement with date (A. Schild based).

It is 100% original down to both signed crowns. The case presents in excellent condition. The dial is mint. Our watchmaker has freshly cleaned and oiled the movement.

Included with the purchase is a full one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.

Tissot:
Since 1853, the Swiss watchmaker Tissot & Co. has been building quality timepieces, driven by an innovative spirit and a focus on highly skilled craftsmanship. In 1925, Tissot began an important association with Omega. Shortly thereafter (in 1930 to be exact), the SSIH Holding Company (Societe Suisse pour l'Industrie Horlogere) was founded with Omega and Tissot as its first members.
