The Speedmaster Reduced showcased in today's offering is an original example of one of the classic automatic watches in the Speedmaster line.
The bezel has two areas of dings - one by three and one between one and two - and one of the pushers has a scratch.
The rest of the watch remains at very high condition levels - it would be about a 9.6 out of 10 without these. If you would like we can order and install a new complete bezel for $350 and a new pusher for $100 or both for $425.
The luminous has toned just enough to give the watch a bit of a classic look.
It is 100% Omega and original down to the crystal. The watch was fully serviced approx. one year ago.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
A nice Speedy with a couple spots of wear that the price reflects.
Omega Speedmaster:
In 1957, Omega unveiled a chronograph that was a true technological marvel, the Speedmaster. Its incredible durability and accuracy would not only win it accolades around the world and the distinction of being the first watch to be worn on the moon, it would accomplish something far more important, guiding the crew of Apollo 13 safely back home after their malfunctioning electronic systems had shut down. The Speedmaster is one of the most prominent chronograph models in watch collecting.
