The stainless steel case is in pleasing condition, original down to the rectangular pushers, corrector pins, and crown. The complicated dial is bright, showing only slight aging and one re-attached original marker. We were told the dial finish is original, but we are of the opinion that is a very well-done refinishing. The high-grade Universal Geneve caliber 481 movement is clean. The Tri-Compax movements were the most complex mechanism ever offered by the company.

The movement has been freshly cleaned and oiled. All functions are working and the chronograph hand sweep hands resets to an exact twelve o'clock.

Included with the purchase is a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.
