1958 Omega Seamaster Vintage Mens Calatrava Classic Handwound Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 5172

Today's offering showcases this classic vintage Seamaster mens watch that has been beautifully restored. Besides being hand wound, a less common trait for a Seamaster, this Seamaster also features a slightly thinner case than automatic Seamasters.

It measures 34mm in diameter without the crown, about the size of a Rolex Date watch (a couple millimeters smaller than a Rolex Datejust.)

It has been restored as part of a true expert restoration and presents as very pleasing condition. It is fully Omega down to the hands and signed crown. The dial has been expertly refinished and could pass as Omega factory done even under light magnification.

The caliber 420 movement has just been freshly fully serviced by and is running very true.

For the finishing touch we have installed a new leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.

The Seamaster:
Worn on the wrists of celebrities Michael Schumacher, Pierce Brosnan, Michael Phelps, and Ernie Els, Omega timepieces rank with those of Rolex and other of the world's fine Swiss firms.

Omega is perhaps best known by watch connoisseurs for its Seamaster line of dive watches. Introduced in 1948, they have been were embraced by water sports enthusiasts and often marry a striking look with a high performance movement.
