We are proud to offer today this very fine mid-century ladies Patek Philippe in gorgeous all-original condition.
With its understated silver face and timeless case with thin lugs, it showcases a classic and elegant vintage Patek style.
Powering the watch is its illustrious handwound movement, unquestionably among the finest hand-winding ladies movements ever built.
Patek designed the extremely high-grade movement to maintain very accurate timekeeping even across a wide range of temperatures, positions, and even amounts of power left (isochronism), something only the highest top tier of mens movements could do. It was virtually unheard of quality for a women's movement, except for some made by Patek Philippe and a few of the highest level ladies movements from a couple other top echelon manufacturers. Its balance is even freesprung - it is one of the very few women's watches that is truly on par with the very top-tier of men's watches.
We were fortunate to acquire it in such fabulous all-original condition. It appears to have only been worn briefly and carefully before spending most of its life stored away.
Its never-polished case shows only very light wear and still nearly perfectly retains its original satin finish on the back.
Its untouched original silver dial is mint. Its movement is very clean.
One of our Master Watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it.
We have also timed it on a machine that simulates it being worn on the wrist. It is keeping very accurate time.
For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new black cord strap designed to replicate the look of the original making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
Please inquire if you would like us to obtain an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives. Patek charges 550 CHF.
