1960's Rolex Ladies Vintage Cocktail Watch - 18K White Gold & Diamonds

Rolex

Item No. 10371

Today's offering showcases this rare and exquisite Rolex creation. It is has all of its original parts.

It is a special creation made for Bucherer - according to Bucherer advertisement from the period, watches similar to this were made exclusively for the Swiss retailer. As Hess and Dowling state in their authoritative work on Rolex, these watches are, "in fact, the last hand made Rolex watches."

Bejeweled with 18 sparkling diamonds, the 18K white Rolex gold case is absolutely stunning! The diamonds are white, near flawless, and full of fire as one would expect from original Rolex factory set diamonds.

Showcasing a beautiful full diamond bezel and distinctive three dimensional markers, this cocktail watch as it is called, added the perfect finishing touch to outfits worn to galas, award ceremonies, or other special gatherings.

We were fortunate to acquire this classic and elegent Rolex with all of its original parts.

Its case is in excellent condition. It presents as just short of mint with light signs of previous polishing.

Its small untouched original dial is in excellent condition. It presents as mint to the naked eye and shows only light aging under magnification.

And its sleek, original 18K white gold correctly stamped bracelet with woven motif and beautiful textured clasp presents as just short of mint condition.

One of our Master Watchmakers who used to be the watchmaker for an authorized Rolex dealer and was given special training by Rolex at their Beverly Hills Service Center to be an authorized Rolex watchmaker, has fully serviced the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, replacing any overly worn components with genuine Rolex parts, installing a new mainspring, reassembling and lubricating the movement, and extensive poising, timing, testing and regulation (a $795 value).

It is running strong and true, keeping extremely accurate time.

Accompanying the watch is a Rolex - Bucherer spoon from the era that showcased the companies' partnership.

For the finishing touch, we have meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
