1965 Jaeger-LeCoultre Vintage Mens Asymmetrical Watch - 14K White Gold & Diamonds

Jaeger-LeCoultre

Item No. 7445

During the latter half of the 1950's in the era of the '57 Chevy and the Cadillac fin, Jaeger-LeCoultre made avante garde wristwatches for the U.S. market. Embodying distinctive design from the period, they are funky and original, yet elegant enough to be worn on the wrists of discriminating ladies and collectors.

Among the most interesting of these is the uncommon asymmetrical, ref. 2406. Today's offering showcases a beautiful early example of the rarest version of these watches - one with a Jaeger-LeCoultre factory diamond dial.

We were fortunate to acquire this fine gentleman's watch in original condition. It is fully Jaeger/LeCoultre down to the dial and hands.

The case is in very good condition with fairly light wear. The factory Florentine texturing is crisp - it has never been significantly polished. The untouched original dial shows only fairly light aging.

One of our watchmakers has freshly disassembled the movement down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it and installed a new correct mineral glass crystal. It is keeping very accurate time.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new Teju lizard strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function and a new Connoisseur of Time timing certificate attesting to its performance.

Don't miss the chance to own a watch that unites the worlds of art and horology as both a noteworthy 1950's design and a high-grade timepiece.
