1966 Omega De Ville Vintage Mens Automatic Classic Retro TV Case Watch with Tiffany Blue Dial - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 10511

Today's offering showcases this classic retro Omega De Ville in gorgeous restored condition with Tiffany & Co. robin's egg blue color dial.

Living up to its name as one of the sophisticated "De Ville" models, it features a retro somewhat "TV style" case, striking dial, very fine ultra-thin automatic Omega movement, and Omega bracelet.

The satin finish of the bracelet nicely complement the satin finished case bezel. The bracelet is removeable giving you the option to also pair it with a black or traditional color strap, or a colored strap.

Although non-round watches are most often fitted with handwound movements, this model can have an automatic because it is powered by a caliber 711 movement, the thinnest automatic movement the company has ever made.

The 700 series has a direct lineage to the celebrated 500 series, and is arguably as good, and collectors are beginning to recognize it accordingly.

It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous condition - the watch presents as a 9.6 out of 10

Its case presents as mint. Its original Omega dial has been meticulously custom refinished in Tiffany & Co. robin's egg blue - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye. Its color is slightly lighter than the photos suggest.

Its Omega bracelet, which has only light stretch, presents as just short of mint with light remnants of wear on the underside not visible when it's being worn. On the wrist it presents as mint.

As part of the restoration, a Master Watchmaker has just fully overhauled the movement. We have also timed it on a machine that simulates it being worn on the wrist. It is keeping very accurate time.

For the finishing touch, it has been meticulously detailed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function and a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
