1966 Omega Seamaster Mens Vintage Cal. 565 Watch with Crosshair Dial, Automatic, Date - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 9567

Today's offering showcases this pleasing and cool restored c. 1966 Omega Seamaster. It has a very classic Seamaster case design with screwback case embossed with the Seamonster logo and desirable matte black crosshair dial.

Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 565 movement used in Seamasters from the era, and one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs. It is the highest level offering of the 500 series. It has 24 jewels and is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.

It is full size for the era - 34.5mm, which is in between the size of the Rolex Date and the Rolex Datejust.

It has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It has all of its original parts and presents in gorgeous restored condition.

Its case presents as mint with only fairly light signs of previous polishing to back. Its dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration the very fine caliber 565 movement with fine swans neck regulation has been freshly overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It is running very strong and true, keeping time nearly on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.

For the finishing touch it has been equipped with a new leather strap with aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.
