Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 565 movement used in Seamasters from the era, and one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs It was the top tier offering of the 500 series. It has 24 jewels and a quick-setting date and was one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.

It measures 34.5mm, which is in between the size of the Rolex Date and the Rolex Datejust.

It has all of its original parts down to the dial, hands, and winding crown and even the signed Omega crystal!

Its case presents as just short of perfect mint. The lug facets are still strong. Its untouched original silver dial is mint condition. Its original Omega beads of rice bracelet has moderate stretch, and its finish presents as mint.

One of our Master Watchmakers has fully serviced the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, reassembling and lubricating the movement, and extensive timing testing and regulation (an $695 value).

It is keeping very accurate time, nearly on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position. Its small original crown makes it slightly harder to handwind. If you'd prefer never to handwind it, it's a great candidate to be placed on a watch winder.
