Though many connoisseurs associate the idea of the double quick-set watch with Rolex, which first offered the President model with this "new" feature in late 1990, Omega was a pioneer of the technology in large scale production watches, evidenced by this example made about a decade before.

It has all of its original parts down to even the original Omega signed crystal and Omega waterproofing seal!

It had just finished a true expertly done restoration and presents in gorgeous condition - on the wrist it presents like new.

The case is just short of perfect mint with the slightest remnants of wear to the underside of the lugs. The top would originally have been gold plated. On the wrist, it presents as absolutely perfect mint - a 10.0 out of 10.0. The original Omega dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration, a Master Watchmaker has overhauled the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, replacing any overly worn components, reassembling and lubricating the movement, and extensive timing testing and regulation (a $595 value).

It continues to keep extremely accurate time in our testing recording position.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
