1984 Omega Seamaster Calypso 120M Vintage Mens Quartz Watch, Date - Stainless Steel & PVD

Omega

Item No. 8450

Before the days of DLC coating became very fashionable, Omega experimented a bit with putting PVD coating on some of their Seamaster Calypso watches. This model was already an uncommon one - unless you're a true ardent fan of 80's quartz era Seamasters you probably haven't yet heard of the Calypso, as very few of them were made.

Besides looking cool, PVD or DLC Diamond like carbon coating provides an extra-strong surface protection to the finish.

Today's offering showcases this rare and classically cool retro mens Omega Seamaster Calypso with original Omega factory done PVD coating.

Its case is ultra thin with an elapsed time rotating bezel and screwed down crown. Its large contrasting one orange and one white hands make it easy to read in a reduced visibility environment.

Its dial has a pleasing black divers style design giving the watch a true blacked-out look. The watch is powered by a quartz mechanism with quick-setting date.

A Master Watchmaker has installed a new battery and performed any needed servicing.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.

If you're not familiar, over the last few years black diamond coated watches have gained a strong following. Don't miss the chance to own one of the OG blacked-coated watches from Omega in vintage times.
