While busy patenting their Oyster case, Rolex also crafted early lady's dress wristwatches to meet the needs of their female clients. The fine nearly century old Rolex showcased in this offering is an example of one of these very early lady's Rolex wristwatches. Rolex was one of the pioneers of the wrist worn watch.
We were fortunate to acquire it in excellent original condition. It showcases a classic 9K gold case lightly tinted rose in tone. The centerpiece of the watch is its stunning silver face with sunburst guilloche Roman numerals which is original and untouched in very pleasing condition. Its original Breguet moon style blued steel hands still retain their strong blue tone when viewed at certain angles.
It is accompanied by a vintage leather cord bracelet. Please inquire if you would like a brand new black cloth cord or gold tone cord bracelet.
It has been recently serviced and we have timed it in five chronometer positions making it ready for immediate enjoyment. It continues to keep unusually accurate time for one of these watches.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
