Tiffany & Co.

Item No. 6722

In the 1920's, no name better captured the idea of embracing the best life had to offer than that of Tiffany & Co. One of the company's select offerings was a line of watches emblazoned with the Tiffany & Co. name on the dial. Although the maker's name were often hidden, the retailer contracted with the world's finest watch and jewelry making firms to produce these treasured timepieces.

Today these special watches are sought-after by men of distinction, Hollywood actors, and any gentleman desiring to wear a world-class timepiece.

For this special piece Tiffany partnered with one of the very fine watchmakers in the world at the time, Agassiz Watch Co.

We were fortunate to acquire with matching numbers in all original condition down to the dial, hands, and crown, an impressive state for a nearly century old wristwatch.

Unlike many wristwatches from the era, which tended toward the small size, this robust watch measures 43mm long. It beautiful case is curved to fit the wrist.

It is in pleasing condition, appearing to have been worn seldom and carefully in appreciation of its quality and value and then safely stored away.

Its silver Tiffany & Co. dial with beautiful luminous numbers is original and untouched. Original dials are seldom seen on nearly 100 year old Tiffany's. If you would like it restored to like new, please inquire.

Its original Agassiz movement is adjusted to two positions and also for temperature, like only the very high grade watches from the era. Its large 18K gold case is better than near mint.

One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it. Its keeping very accurate time. For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new high quality Hirsch ostrich strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
