Item No. 8988

We are proud to offer the timelessly classic and large Art Deco Patek Philippe wristwatch showcased in today's offering. It features an elegant "tortoise-shaped" case and silver dial with Breguet numerals and onion style crown.
Because most vintage Pateks came with plain dials, Pateks with Breguet numeral dial are much rarer and more desirable - and in our opinion often more handsome.
Its wonderfully thin sculpted case is only 8.5mm including thick including the domed crystal.
This gorgeous Art Deco Patek has really captured our hearts. It is powered by its original handwound Patek movements with eight adjustments - five for chronometer positions and three for heat, cold, and isochronism.
Its original 38.5mm long 18K white gold is near mint plus. Its dial has been restored by the leading dial expert in the U.S. Its raised Patek Philippe lettering is still intact. And its early handwound movement, housed in its original Patek made 18K yellow gold holder, is keeping time.
One of our Master Watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it and poised the balance making it ready for immediate enjoyment. Photos of the inside available upon request.
It comes fitted with the Patek band that was on it when we acquired it and an 18K white gold vintage Patek buckle.
Accompanying the watch is an Extract from the Patek Philippe archives attesting to its authenticity and originality (Patek charges 500CHF, approx. $550 to provide one).
Included with the purchase is a one-year international warranty on the movement and its function.
